Master of APPLIED FINANCE – in English
The mission of this master’s program is to train specialists who possess the necessary practical skills involved in making financial decisions at both the financial market and corporate level. The center of gravity is represented by the process of identifying, quantifying and managing financial risks, by the substantiation of investors’ financial behavior using quantitative methods and techniques for analysing and forecasting market-wide financial issues. The master’s program welcomes both Romanian and foreign applicants.

Master’s program Banking and Insurance
The main objectives of the program areto provide students with complex and comprehensive training, to increase employability on the Romanian and European labor market and to develop a scientific research community able to promote co-operation between academic staff, specialists and master students.

Master’s program Actuarial Techniques
The Actuarial Techniques master’s program is the result of the partnership with the Institute of Financial Studies, with the support of the Romanian Actuarial Association – A.R.A. and with several universities and institutes from the country and abroad (Austria, Germany, Great Britain, Portugal). The program combines practical approaches with theoretical sessions, providing an important and complex body of knowledge, necessary to face the challenges created in the financial services industry. The program aims at training highly qualified specialists in the field of finance and banking. These specialists are able to perform qualitative and quantitative analyses of the economic and financial phenomena which are manifest in the finance and banking domain; based on these analyses, graduates are highly competent decision makers.The subjects taught develop students’ analytical, synthesis and decision-making abilities. Furthermore, students become familiar both with fundamental concepts in modern economics and finance, and with econometric techniques employed in the quantitative and qualitative analysis of financial and monetary phenomena.

Master’s program Corporate Finance
he mission of this program is to train highly qualified professionals, whose knowledge and competences will allow them to perform activities in the field of financial management (both in enterprises and in capital market institutions). The curriculum has been designed so as to meet the demands on the Romanian and European labor markets, also benefiting from the experience of prestigious foreign universities. The program lays emphasis on practical activities such as case studies, as well as on scientific research in corporate finance.The master’s program is an ACCA Acredited Programme. Graduates will be eligible for exemption of the modules F1-F3 and F9. This programme will hold accreditation for a period of 5 years, for graduates from 01/01/2018 to 31/12/2022.
