Graduate of the Faculty of Finance, Banking and Accounting at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, class of 1994, doctoral studies – School of Advanced Studies of the Romanian Academy – SCOSAAR. During 1994-2005 she worked in different credit institutions (BANCOREX, Banca Turco-Romană, BRD – Societe Generale, Citibank Romania and GarantiBank International N.V. Amsterdam, Romania Branch) in executive and management positions. From 2005 until present she has carried out teaching and research activities, the subjects (starting with the current ones): Credit Institutions Management, Banking Products and Services, Banking Transactions, Credit Institutions, Banking Financial Management, Banking Strategies and Techniques, Taxation, Finance of Public Institutions, Comparative Taxation. Regarding the research activity, she has published as author or co-author scientific articles published in recognized international journals (ISI-listed journals or indexed in international databases specific to the field), in the volumes of recognized international scientific events organized domestic and abroad, in national journals recognized by CNCS, in the volumes of national scientific events (with ISSN/ISBN). She is also the author or co-author of specialized books, courses, manuals as well as chapters published in collective volumes that appeared in recognized publishing houses. She was a member in the team of research-development projects obtained through competition, on a contract/grant basis. Areas of interest: the activity of credit institutions – banking risks management; product and service portfolios; banking transactions; ESG in the banking system.
