Scientific Seminar: Money, Finance and Banking

Overview

The scientific seminar “Money, Finance, Banking” (MFB) is jointly organized by the Department of Finance and the Department of Money and Banking within the Bucharest University of Economic Studies.

The purpose of organizing the “Money, Finance, Banking” (MFB) scientific seminar is to disseminate high-level financial-banking research to both the academic community (academic staff and doctoral students) and the community of finance-banking practitioners. This seminar should be viewed as an agora of scientific ideas — a place where scientific debate and the pursuit of knowledge are possible. Presenters will include academic staff affiliated with the two departments, as well as academic staff or specialists from within the country or abroad. They will present original research papers.

The seminar will take place throughout both semesters of the academic year, weekly, every Tuesday starting at 17:00. The scientific debate will last 1 hour, followed by social activities. Papers presented at the seminar will be selected in a manner that ensures high standards of research quality. Papers may be presented in English or in Romanian.

To avoid potential overcrowding, those interested in attending the scientific seminar from other departments/universities or from the professional community must request registration as a participant by completing and submitting their details in the Registration section. The request will be accepted only within the limit of available spaces, on a first-come, first-served basis.

We warmly look forward to welcoming you at these events of the highest academic caliber!
