As a graduate of the Faculty of Finance, Insurance, Banking and Stock Exchanges and a first-year master’s student in Corporate Finance, I can state with full confidence that choosing to attend this faculty was one of the best decisions I have ever made. At the faculty, I not only gained essential knowledge, but also had the opportunity to meet remarkable people. My involvement in extracurricular activities as a student representative in the Faculty Council and in the University Senate showed me how important teamwork is and how, through perseverance, we can achieve any goal. Throughout these years, my empathy and desire to help have allowed me to effectively represent my colleagues’ interests, acting as a voice for them and providing the necessary support — things that would not have been possible without the unconditional and continuous support of the faculty’s leadership.

My name is Dinu Alexandra Ionela and I am a graduate of the Faculty of Finance, Insurance, Banking and Stock Exchanges. I am currently a student in the Taxation master’s program. This faculty helped me develop my analytical skills and understand the complexity of financial systems. It prepared me for a successful career, providing me with access to exceptional professors and valuable resources.
I am also a student representative on the Faculty Council, where I had the opportunity to mediate the relationship between students and professors. In this position, I worked to improve the academic experience for my colleagues and facilitated dialogue and collaboration between the academic community and students. My role taught me the importance of effective communication and empathy, helping me become a better leader and an advocate for students’ rights and needs.

I graduated from the Faculty of Finance, Insurance, Banking and Stock Exchanges, specialization Finance and Banking, and I am now in my first year of the Taxation master’s program.
For me, the faculty meant much more than the accumulation of knowledge. It was a space that helped me develop both professionally and personally. Interactions with professors and active involvement in various extracurricular activities gave me the opportunity to hone my skills and contribute to student life.
As a member of the faculty council, I had the privilege of representing my colleagues’ interests and supporting the organization of activities aimed at our personal and professional development. This experience strengthened my connection to the faculty and consolidated my desire to continue my studies at doctoral level. I am deeply grateful for all the opportunities provided and for the valuable relationships formed in this environment.

I am a 3rd year student at FABBV bachelor’s program, having chosen this faculty out of a desire to build a solid career in the financial field, drawn by the complexity of economic mechanisms and the impact of financial decisions.
I currently hold the position of Officer in the Corporate Underwriting and Special Risks department at ASIROM, where I apply the knowledge I have acquired and continue to develop my professional experience.
During my studies, I have been actively involved in faculty committees and activities, including the admissions committee and various workshops promoting FABBV, responsibly representing the interests of students and being a voice for my colleagues.

I am currently a first-year student in the Master of Applied Finance program, having also completed the Finance and Banking bachelor’s program, specialization in English — an experience that gave me a comprehensive and solid perspective on the financial field.
As a student representative and member of the FABBV council, I had the opportunity to collaborate directly with professors and the faculty leadership, actively contributing to decisions and initiatives aimed at improving the academic experience. This position helped me develop leadership skills and gain a better understanding of both my colleagues’ needs and the operating mechanisms of an academic institution.
The faculty provided me not only with the necessary theoretical knowledge but also with essential practical tools, preparing me for a successful career in the financial field.
I am currently a junior auditor at PwC, and my experience as a student representative and the knowledge gained at FABBV have proven essential in my professional journey.

I graduated from the Faculty of Finance and Banking within the Bucharest University of Economic Studies — a choice I made as early as Year 10 of high school, attracted in particular by the 93% employment rate within the first 3 months after graduation. Throughout my studies, I achieved admirable results, receiving a scholarship every year. One of the most important moments in my academic career was joining the faculty council in Year III — an experience that taught me a wealth of valuable lessons. The professionalism of the professors and the faculty leadership impressed me deeply, making this faculty an ideal environment for development.
