From High School to Finance and Banking

The Faculty of Finance and Banking (FABBV) within the Bucharest University of Economic Studies (ASE), in partnership with the Romanian Association of Finance and Banking – RoFIBA, with the support of ING Bank Romania, is organizing a new edition of the competition “Investing in the Future: From High School to Finance and Banking”.

The competition is open to teams consisting of 10th, 11th and 12th grade students, together with a coordinating teacher, offering participants the opportunity to test their financial literacy, develop their presentation and analytical skills, and gain a deeper understanding of the Finance and Banking field.

The competition consists of two stages:

Stage I – teams will take part in two challenges:

A presentation on the topic “The Investor of the Future: Human, Algorithm or Team?”
A set of multiple-choice questions covering financial literacy.

Stage II – qualified teams will develop and present a project addressing a topic in the fields of finance, insurance, banking or stock exchanges, approached from a multidisciplinary perspective.

The total prize fund is RON 105,000.

• Stage I prizes, awarded for each group:
  1st Prize – RON 4,500
  2nd Prize – RON 3,000
  3rd Prize – RON 1,500
• Stage II prizes:
  1st Prize – RON 10,000
  2nd Prize – RON 8,000
  3rd Prize – RON 6,000
  3 Honourable Mentions – RON 3,000 each

Registration period: September 28 – November 4, 2026

The competition activities will take place on site at the FABBV building, Bucharest University of Economic Studies, 5–7 Mihail Moxa Street, Bucharest.
