Admissions average: The general admissions average (GAA) is calculated as a weighted arithmetic average of the grade obtained at the baccalaureate exam (BE) (weighted at 70%) and the overall average grade from high school years of study (HSA) (weighted at 30%), resulting in the following calculation formula:
GAA = 0,7 * BE + 0.3 * HSA
Admissions average: Admission to master’s programs is by competitive examination, with candidates ranked according to their admissions average, calculated as a weighted average between:
For programs taught in a foreign language, an online language proficiency interview is held — eliminatory, graded pass/fail. Exceptions apply to candidates who present one of the certificates recognized by ASE or those who have completed bachelor’s programs delivered in the foreign language of the master’s program for which they are applying.
The admissions examination average is determined on the basis of the General Admissions Score (P), as follows:
The maximum General Admissions Score (P) is 100, obtained on the basis of results from the specialty examination organized in the form of a multiple-choice test (according to the syllabi set out in Annex 3) / in the form of an interview (according to the conditions set out in Annex 4), as applicable, and the average grade from the bachelor’s degree completion examination (ML):
𝑷 =(𝑴L*𝟓)+(𝑷S*𝟓)
The maximum Specialty Score (PS) obtained is 10 and is calculated as PS = PP/10. The maximum PP is 100 and represents the score from the specialty examination (multiple-choice test/interview), including 10 points awarded by default.
The minimum General Admissions Score required to be declared Admitted is 60 (equivalent to grade 6).
