
Professor Dalina Dumitrescu graduated from the Faculty of Finance-Accounting and obtained her PhD in Economics from the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest. She obtained his post-doctoral degree from the University of Fribourg, funded by a grant obtained from the Swiss Federal Commission through a competition. Her professional training was developed and consolidated through documentation and research internships at major universities in Europe (University of Toulouse, University of Reading, University of Fribourg) as well as in the US. Her research areas refer to the areas of interest regarding Corporate Finance, Company Valuation, Multinational Company Finance, Improving the Education Process and Increasing the Quality of Knowledge Transfer in Higher Education, University Accreditation, and the Use of AI in Universities. In addition to her work at the department, Professor Dumitrescu was involved in research management (Member and President of the CNCSIS and UEFISCDI committees, Romanian Representative at the European Science Foundation (ESF) and member of the ESF Core Group, evaluator of national and European projects) as well as in the management of educational activity (member of CNATDCU 4 terms, Director General for Higher Education in the Ministry of Education, Dean of FABBV and Vice-Rector of ASE, member of the Senate and the Board of Directors of ASE). The subjects taught in recent years were: Financial Management of the Enterprise_ English, Company Evaluation – Master, Business and Investment Evaluation – Risk and Profitability – Master (English), Leadership and Strategy – Master (English). Regarding his research activity, Professor Dr. Dumitrescu has published over 35 articles, 12 of which in peer-reviewed journals with impact factor, over 20 books and contributions with chapters to published treatises and has participated in over 20 national and international scientific conferences. She has been a reviewer of articles proposed for publication in national and international journals as well as a member of the editorial board of some specialized journals. She is a doctoral supervisor and the research he supervises corresponds to the areas of interest in education and research.
