Having graduated from the Faculty of Finance and Banking of the Bucharest University of Economic Studies (class of 2002), he defended his doctoral thesis at the same university in 2006. He is interested in public finance issues, especially in operations specific to the state treasury. He teaches in the university since 2002, being a tenured professor in the disciplines of “Budget and Public Treasury”, “Finance of Public Institutions” and “Fiscal System”. He is the author of several specialized scientific works. Since 2014, he has held the position of Secretary of State / Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Finance.
