Dragoș Ștefan Oprea is a teaching assistant at the Department of Finance of the Bucharest University of Economic Studies. He teaches Corporate Finance, Financial Markets, Portfolio Management and Public Finance at the Faculty of Finance and Banking, at the Faculty of Accounting and Management Information Systems and other faculties of the Bucharest University of Economic Studies. He obtained his PhD in Finance from the Bucharest University of Economic Studies with a doctoral thesis in the field of stock returns determinants. He is a member of the Center of Financial and Monetary Research since 2011, assistant editor and reviewer for The Review of Finance and Banking. His main areas of interest, emphasized in numerous publications, are related to the field of financial markets – stock returns determinants, capital market efficiency and investor sentiment. In parallel with his academic career, he also carried out consultancy work in the field of real estate valuation. Dragoș Ștefan Oprea has been a member of the National Association of Authorized Appraisers in Romania since 2017.
