Short bio

My name is Andreea Bozagiu, and I am a PhD candidate and research assistant at the Faculty of Finance, Insurance, Banking and Stock Exchange (FABBV) in Bucharest. I hold both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Finance from the same faculty, where I am currently pursuing my doctoral studies. My research interests focus on credit risk, quantitative modeling, financial analysis, financial stability, and the application of advanced statistical and econometric methods in the financial and banking sectors. In terms of teaching activities, I am involved in delivering courses and seminars in Credit Institutions, Financial and Monetary Decision Modeling, Banking Management, and Personal Finance. My scientific output includes peer-reviewed publications in the areas of finance and credit risk, as well as active participation in national and international scientific conferences. In parallel with my academic activities, I am professionally engaged in the financial industry as a Senior Quantitative Modeller within a company specializing in credit risk management.
