Graduate of the Faculty of Finance-Accounting, class of 1988. He completed specialization courses at prestigious universities in Europe: ESUG Toulouse, France, University of Mathematics of Ulm, Germany, Uni-Mail University, Switzerland. Author of specialized books in the field of insurance and reinsurance, health economics, social protection and catastrophic risk management. Professor Paul Tănăsescu is a member of the Department of Finance. He was also vice-dean of FABBv (2004-2008; 2008-2012), member of the ASE senate, member of the Faculty Council. He was part of the Board of Directors of Apă Ilfov, member of the Rokas Commission, Censor of FRF, ADIGIDI, etc. He currently teaches courses in Social Protection, Insurance and Reinsurance, Risk Management in Insurance at FABBv, Finance course at the Faculty of Marketing and Economic Cybernetics.
